点评：Visited this resort last Thursday to celebrate a double birthday. We were a party of six, so we made sure to book in advance. I called four days ahead to reserve a massage but was told they were completely booked for the day. Thankfully, we were still able to secure the grotto experience.
I used to come here every year, but the place has gotten so popular that there are people everywhere you turn. Luckily, the resort is spacious enough that you can still find your own little corner to relax. Personally, I’m always on the lookout for a good shaded spot, I try to avoid baking in the sun whenever possible.
We arrived around 11 AM and it was already packed. I grabbed a cocktail from the bar just a heads-up, their drinks are wine-based since they still don’t have a hard liquor license. Probably for the best… no one wants tipsy swimmers flopping around in the pool.
Pro tip for the ladies: if you need extra time to get ready after your spa time, don’t wait until the last minute. The line for the showers can get long, especially before they close at 5 PM. After that, the night crowd starts rolling in, and you definitely don’t want to be caught in the transition. A little time management will save you the stress.
Also, if you want to avoid doing laps around the parking lot, plan to arrive early doors open at 9:30 AM. The later it gets, the tougher it is to find a spot.
Even with the crowd, we still had a great time. Just be warned it was busy on a Thursday, so I can only imagine how packed it gets on the weekend. I’d personally skip it on Saturdays and Sundays if you’re looking for a more relaxing vibe.
