点评：Both Whistler Mountain and Mont Tremblant ski/resorts share design similarities as they were developed by a Canadian corporation, formerly called Intrawest. Two hours from Montreal, the trail that starts/ends by the Old Village “Vieux” convent, at Parc Lineaire Le Petit Train du Nord “Pumptrack,”extends along paved lakeside pathways around Lac Mercier and Lac Moore/Allen (below Hilton/gravel lot) to Lac Tremblant. You won’t find a prettier path than this, except for Kananaskis-Lake Louise near Jasper/Sunshine (Alberta Rockies) and @Blackcomb-Whistler mountains (coastal “beautiful British Columbia”). Whether heading out on bikes, or on foot across the Devil’s “Diable” River, it’s best not to veer off track. For a self-guided tour, if driving to the lot for watercraft rental & renting a bicycle, further North in Tremblant’s new “Nouvelle” Village between Information Centre/ Cabriolet ski lift (East) to “top station” (i.e. via Chemin des Voyageurs to Residence Inn-facing Giant Mont Tremblant Resort); it’ll be all clear-incline to the other “base” (i.e, Johannsen). While lining up for the gondola, you can first grab free hiking poles from a big “EuroBungy” bucket, or else just take a bike up to the top @Manitou Grand lodge, warranting ticket purchases ($34) below—different from Old Town “Manitous.” A slightly rugged slope will await you, opposite from the lookout spot; off Ryan or Vertige/Vertigo (SW) are white trail signs. (Avoid the blue signage!) Vertigo crosses Ruisseaux “River” and dirt road that turns into Cap riverside trail, which gently curves down toward Fairmont Hotel/lot. Wear good solid shoes with tread & water bottle, and spend a couple hours heading down to the Village (before return/path a further 20 km past lilypads). Taking in the splendour of creation is spectacular @Tremblant!
