Overcrowded — better as a hotel guest than visiting for a day.

点评：Found this on Instagram and the architecture lives up to the hype. But visiting on a Sunday as a day tripper was a mistake. No visible capacity limits — people queuing outside sauna rooms despite pre-booking. This was even before 12noon. Not the relaxing spa day I came for. The sauna , which is textile free, is supposedly 15+ only — however there were a lot of kids on the day I visited.
Honest verdict: this feels more like a family water park than a thermal spa. Great for families with kids, less so if you’re after peace and quiet. Lots of couples but they are outnumbered by the amount of families who came in for the day.
If you’re looking at checking this place out- I recommend check in as a hotel guest. You get access from 7 AM — two hours before the public arrives at 9 AM. That changes everything. Hotel guests also get towels and robes included — as a day pass visitor these are extra (€10 robe, €7 towel, or €15 combined).
Getting here from Innsbruck is easy — REX1 regional train to Ötztal Bahnhof, then Bus 320 to Längenfeld. What the English website doesn’t tell you: day visitors can get a free bus from Ötztal Bahnhof — pre-book your thermal ticket at shop.aqua-dome.at, then claim your complimentary bus ticket at vvt.at/et/events/aqua-dome. I only found this out when asking about the aqua dome taxi mentioned on their webpage but i dont not think there is one.
Lunch is self-service and chaotic — expected after a busy Sunday spa experience.
