点评：We organized a study trip for our class, and I have to say it was absolutely amazing! Romania was, in many ways, much bigger and more diverse than I expected, and the contrast between the countryside and Bucharest couldn’t be more striking. We had an amazing driver (very safe and punctual!) who drove us through the country.
During the trip, we got to experience so many different sides of Romania, from beautiful castles and modern ski resorts to charming villages with delicious local cooking. We visited a bear sanctuary, enjoyed a husky ride, explored the famous Turda Salt Mine deep underground, and stood on top of breathtaking mountains. Every day brought something new and memorable.
Even though we were a rather large group, and three of us also had to help guide the class, George managed everything perfectly. He supported us incredibly well throughout the entire trip and was flexible in every situation, always adapting to our needs and the group’s dynamics. He gave us enough freedom to explore on our own while making sure everyone had enough time. Whenever someone had questions or wanted to see something in more depth, he took the time to explain and show it to us.
What impressed me most was his incredible knowledge about Romania, it amazed me every single time! So don’t hesitate to ask him lots of questions.
I’m already looking forward to exploring more of the country, especially Maramureș and the more rural parts of Romania!
