点评:My daughter and I went up the Yen Tu Mountain from our beautiful hotel, The Legacy Yen Tu on one of the hottest days of the year! There was very few other tourists and the trips with both cable carts and the roughly 6 km walk (we measured it with our Garmin watches) between the cable carts and the stupas and Buddha statue took us two hours in total. The steep stairs and views are beautiful but the restaurant did not look clean and appealing enough for us to have lunch there. At the Buddha statue one of the woman working at one of the trinket shops took my phone and started taking pictures of me, afterwards she said I must buy something from her and she shoved a big Buddha statue into my hands, I politely told her that I did not want to buy anything and she became very hostile. I then gave her money to say thank you for taking pictures of me and then she wanted more out of my wallet.
This was the most unspititual experience just there next to the statue.
Ps wear comfortable walking shoes!

这真是我在佛像旁遇到的最不合时宜的事情。
