The best way to fly into Milford Sound
米尔福德旅行公司的点评
点评：Were used Air Milford to avoid the long drive from Queenstown to Milford Sound as time was against us.
We were collected from the main airport in Queenstown and taken to Milford Air's base. We felt comfortable leaving our large bags with them (as you might in a hotel).
The flight is in a 15 seater (one lucky person gets to ride with the pilot). the views are spectacular and we were fortunate with the weather. If it is raining, they may not fly. We were advised to reserve a place on a coach just in case.
A commentary is given during the flight (which I found difficult to hear) and apparently there is an app (untested).
In summary, this is a relatively expensive option but the convenience and the sights made it worth every penny, Thanks too to Stephen for his advice and ferrying us back and forth in Queenstown.
