Thornbridge Estate的点评
点评：Today we experienced the tour of Thornbridge Hall.
Our guild was Adam who surprising was the owners brother. He was very down to earth and straight talking and was very informative of the history of the house before his sister purchased it.
He shown us the first electric grand clock that worked every clock in the hall, also some amazing room of old and modern most of which are grade 2 and grade 2* listed.
We also was introduced to Emma his Sister (The lady of the house) she was very welcoming and just made you instantly feel at home, not at all how we expected, the family were just lovely and you could just feel the love they held for the hall with all the hard work transforming it back to its beauty from being so neglected from previous owners.
This has been such a different tour, being able to touch, sit on the seats, not rushed and soaked in the atmosphere xx
If you are ever in the Peak District this is a must Xx
Oh and to top it off we enjoyed a walk around the beautiful gardens without any additional charge, that we would of happily paid xx
