Excellent overnight from Lerwick to Aberdeen, even with a 3m swell

点评：This was our return trip to Aberdeen after a week in Orkney and Shetland.
Again our loading and placement on the car deck was done very professionally. On all the ferry trips it amazed us how the crew manage to pack something into every corner of the ship.
On boarding we were informed that there would be +3m swells during the crossing to Aberdeen. Just right to rock one off to sleep. Although you had to be careful walking around the decks.
We had book an overnight cabin which was small, but comfortable and had all on needed for a one night voyage. There is also a tea/coffee station in the cabin. The shower/bathroom again although small is fine for a quick shower in the morning.
By booking the cabin, we had access to the Magnus Lounge, which is well equipped and very comfortable. We had our complimentary G&T's here while swaying in the swell as we sailed south. We also had an excellent meal, well presented and served hot. Breakfast was again excellent and well worth the little bit extra to have booked a. cabin
The Staff are excellent and very helpful as well.
This is definitely the way to travel, cabin, good food and a great nights sleep even with the swell. We arrived in Aberdeen fresh and ready for the last leg of our Scottish tour.
