A Napa Must - Incredible Experience, Wine, and Tour Guide

点评：Our group of 8 had an absolutely amazing experience at Castello di Amorosa, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire Napa trip.
We booked the “Diamond Mountain Estate Tour & Reserve Wine Tasting,” and everything exceeded expectations but the true standout was our tour guide, Jacob. We couldn’t have been luckier to have him as our wine educator. His energy, humor, and enthusiasm perfectly matched our group, and he made every moment of the tour fun and engaging.
From the torture chamber to the armory room to the underground tunnels, the tour was both fascinating and entertaining. Jacob was incredibly knowledgeable but knew exactly when to keep things light and inject humor, which made the experience feel both educational and unforgettable.
He also did an amazing job guiding us through the tasting, recommending wines based on our preferences and being incredibly generous and patient as we asked to try different ones. The wines themselves were fantastic, especially the 2022 Spumante del Castello (Brut Rosé Sparkling) - so good I had to take a bottle home.
I’ll admit, I initially expected the castle to be more of a kitschy, Instagrammable stop but it completely surprised me. The wines were truly impressive, and our group ended up purchasing several bottles.
If you’re visiting with a group, I highly recommend booking early and giving yourself extra time after your tasting to explore the castle and browse the gift shop. And if you can request a guide, ask for Jacob. He absolutely made the experience!
