The Gainsborough Health Club & Spa的点评
点评：Had a beautiful full spa day at The Gainsborough. This was a birthday gift and I know my husband was looking to book Bedford Spa but it was closed on the day (Monday) and I’m very pleased it was or wouldn’t have found this gem.
Started off really well, shown around and left to get settled. A nice size property, nothing too big that it feels impersonal.
First port of call was pool area. This was v nice as was the jacuzzi but admittedly I didn’t spend much time there as wanted to relax outside as the weather was stunning.
First treatment was a full body massage with Amelia, who was fantastic. Option of hot stones, which I took. It was absolute bliss.
Then had a herbal tea and a chill in the relaxation room which I have to say was stunning. Better than some in bigger establishments. They’ve got this just right.
Lunch was afternoon tea with prosecco which I could not fault. I had read some slightly negative reviews on the food but I think management have taken this on board as what I was served was delicious and nothing akin to the reviews. I also saw what others were having and it all looked very tasty and well presented.
Further chilling - outside on the day bed with a wine - and then a facial, again with Amelia. Sublime. I love a facial and this was up there with one of the best I’ve had.
Purchased some products - no hard sell - with a free gift included.
The premises is off the main road and throughout the day the only noise heard was birds and the resident peacocks.
I’m over the moon that this was booked for me. It was fantastic value and just what I needed to rejuvenate.
I will definitely be returning and recommend you treat yourself - you will not be disappointed.

之后我喝了草本茶，还在休息室里放松了一会儿——不得不说那里的环境真的很棒，甚至比一些大型疗养中心还要好。他们把这一切都安排得恰到好处。午餐就是下午茶，还配有普罗塞克葡萄酒，我实在挑不出任何毛病。我之前读到过一些关于食物的负面评价，不过看来管理层已经注意到了这些意见——因为我享用的食物十分美味，完全与那些评价不符。我还看了看其他人点的菜品，看上去也都十分可口且摆盘精美。
之后我在户外的躺椅上小酌美酒，放松身心；接着又接受了阿梅莉亚做的面部护理。简直太棒了！我特别喜欢做面部护理，这次的经历绝对可以算得上是我体验过的最好的护理之一。买了几件产品——没有强行推销——还附赠了小礼物。
店铺位于主路旁，一整天里只能听到鸟鸣声以及孔雀的叫声。
能订到这个行程我开心极了。性价比极高，正是我恢复精力所需要的。
我一定会再来，也建议大家也去体验一下——绝对不会失望的。
