兰卡威缆车的点评
点评：The cable car ride is a good way to get a good 360 degree view of the geopark and most of Langkawi Island. There are 2 stations, the middle and upper station. Do stop at both and gaze at the various views from the two different heights. The cable car does not stop at the middle station on its way back down. Each cable car can fit up to 6 people.
The ride itself isn’t too bad, however it can get quite humid in the cable cars due to the climate of Langkawi as the cable cars aren’t air conditioned.
The middle station is home to the Eagle Walk which I didn’t purchase, instead I went for the “SkyBridge combo” which let me have a round trip and access to the SkyBridge via the Nature Walk. I do recommend purchasing your tickets at the main station itself rather than online. I queued for less than 10 minutes to purchase my ticket for a total of 89 ringgits, which seems quite reasonable. And do check the weather before you head down, the place doesn’t operate during periods of strong winds and rain if I’m not mistaken.
