This beach is nice, finally sand, although not much, there are 1-2 other attractions nearby, eco lodges, other beaches, turtle sanctuary, but from what I know, this is the second attraction on the Sao Tomé things to do list, well, no, this alone is not worth going down there.
There are no showers on the beach, there are quite a lot of rocks, so if you go into the water, you have to be careful not to be swept away by the water to a place where there could be problems. When we were there, local families were grilling, they were kind and even gave us some of the chicken. Although they didn't speak English, they were very kind to us.
