Abducted by Happy Tours “employees”

点评：I WAS ABDUCTED BY “HAPPY TOUR” EMPLOYEES.
I booked transport from Tulum Airport to the Conrad - Tulum prior to travel with Happy Toiurs. Email confirmation said driver would have khaki pants and lime green top and ID.
I arrived to two men who had my name written on a piece of paper.
I asked if they are from Happy Tours they said yes.
Loading in their van I asked for identification. Reply “yes, yes”. Got into the van, again I asked for ID to confirm they are HT employees. They drive off.
I called the company number and their rep said they would have ok lime green tops and khaki pants.
I had to demand they take me back to the terminal as they kept driving to the main roads. They never produced identification.
I was told when I called the company again that “they may not have uniforms yet in Tulum” and “whoever is there, they are safe to ride with”.
Unbelievably dangerous situation.
I have traveled to 30+ countries. I have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism and disregard for safety.
Do not under any circumstances book with this company. Unsafe and unprofessional.
