A charming, tranquil little monastery tucked away in a quiet Moscow countryside village

I went there in late August with three of my friends who are religious (I'm not). I spearheaded the trip, but we ended up taking my buddy's 4x4.
The sanctuary completely captivated me with its holiness, gentleness, and warmth—it felt as though it was glowing with peace. The monks were very friendly and, I'd say, patriotic. We learned many interesting and instructive details from them regarding its foundation, its turbulent centuries-old history, its desecration, near to complete destruction, and neglect during the Soviet period, and its modern-day renaissance.
We walked along the memorial alley for the Romanov dynasty, whose members once patronized the place.
That was a great day, and I wish other travelers could come there too, not only Russians.
