Excellent tour and brilliant guide

点评：We took the day trip from Florence to San Gimignano and Volterra. There’s an option to include a winery visit which we declined in order to spend more time sightseeing. This turned out to be a good choice for us as there’s so much to see in these beautiful towns. Our guide, Massimo, was terrific. He was friendly, informative and full of excellent advice on what to see and where to go at each destination. We were given enough time to explore on our own but we were also able to use the time very well because Massimo listened to what interests us and gave us tips on where to go and what to do. Having our own guide meant that we were able to enjoy the countryside without having to concentrate on driving and Massimo was happy to talk about points of interest as we went. It isn’t easy to reach both of these towns in a day without using a car, so I would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to treat themselves to a relaxing trip and doesn’t fancy the driving
