3. Unhappy animals- saw a rhino which was confined to a concrete indoor stall on its own, pacing around
4. No picnic rule is ridiculous. As long as food isn’t unpackaged in the free-roaming animal enclosure, I can’t see any other reason for it than just pure greed- forcing you to buy food from packed cafes.
5. Slide closed off in play area as it looked unsafe, however children still climbing all over it. This needs sorted to prevent injury.
6. We paid for giraffe feeding but didn’t get to do it as giraffes weren’t hungry- we asked for refund but we were refused- were told we’d have to come back and try another day, but we live 3 hours away and won’t be coming back! Despicable service. Feel totally ripped off.
I should have read animal welfare reports before visiting. Really sad to read. Will definitely not be returning.
