Seafari Turkoise - Dive Center的点评
点评：This dive center operates at Club Med, but the service culture does not match Club Med at all.
The problems started at booking. The reservations staff was curt and acted as if finding us a spot and booking us was an inconvenience, not her job. My girlfriend was not allowed to come aboard to snorkel, supposedly due to “security rules,” yet no clear policy or reasonable explanation was provided. They also wouldn’t tell us the dive site until the morning of the dive.
The refresher session was extremely superficial. I’ve done plenty of diving, but if I were less experienced—or hadn’t been in the water for a while—I would not have felt adequately prepared.
On dive day, the attitude continued. We were greeted with “What do you want?” and I was handed an XXL wetsuit despite requesting a large. I caught the mistake right before boarding and went back to swap it, only to be scolded again for asking.
On the boat, the instructor was openly negative, repeatedly saying how much she disliked being there and wanted to return to Paris. Even more concerning, she admitted getting confused during the dive due to currents and wasn’t sure where our group was at one point—hardly reassuring.
They advertise food on the boat, but the options were very limited—and they didn’t even provide utensils, which says a lot about the level of preparation. Asking for basic help felt like an annoyance rather than part of the service.
As for the dive itself: poor visibility, strong currents, and limited marine life. The site also felt very close to shore (about 15 minutes), which made it seem like a cost-cutting choice rather than a quality experience.
Overall, the combination of arrogance, disorganization, and safety/leadership concerns made this a disappointing experience. I would recommend choosing a more professional dive operator in Turks & Caicos.
