Brilliant afternoon out for all ages
Museum & Art Swindon的点评
点评：Having lived in Wiltshire for 30+ years, I’d never visited the museum. Took our 3yr old grandson and discovered an absolute hidden gem!
A free museum (though donations are welcome), you immediately follow the footprints up the stairs to find the Gharial. Our Grandson was amazed at its teeth!
You then go from room to room and there’s something for all ages. Adults will enjoy learning about the history of the area but there are interactive displays in each room. We enjoyed dressing up as a knight and a dinosaur, we made a Lego mosaic and loved the dinosaurs to play with and books to read.
One end is the museum and the opposite end is the art exhibition. When we visited it was a ceramic exhibition which again was well laid out and really interesting.
Overall a brilliant afternoon and our grandson asked when we could return! Will definitely be back
