A long way for disappointment

点评：I appreciate the offer of a complimentary tasting following our experience, but unfortunately, it does not change how disappointing our visit was.
My wife and I traveled from the St. Regis Mardavall specifically to visit the winery on the final day of our vacation in Mallorca. Your website states that a reservation is not required for a tasting, and I had also emailed the day before because we intentionally planned part of our final day around visiting your winery.
When we arrived, however, we were told that you could not accommodate the two of us for a tasting. More disappointing than that was the cold reception we received, which left us feeling unwelcome.
We came not only to enjoy a tasting, but with the intention of purchasing wine and other items as gifts for coworkers, friends, and family. Instead, we left without purchasing anything.
I hope the winery takes this feedback seriously. If reservations are now required, or strongly recommended, that should be clearly communicated on the website so visitors do not make a special trip expecting to be accommodated. Just as importantly, every guest who takes the time to visit should be made to feel welcome, even when a tasting cannot be accommodated.
