I raised this with the duty manager on the night as I felt it was important that the matter was addressed. However, I have since felt that my complaint has been dismissed rather than properly acknowledged, which has added to my disappointment.
The show itself was enjoyable, but customer service and professionalism towards all customers are just as important as the performance on stage. Sadly, based on this experience and how it has been handled, we would not return. I would also advise others — particularly those with hidden disabilities — to be mindful, as no one should be made to feel uncomfortable when attending what should be an inclusive and welcoming environment.
