点评:Came here with my sister to attend a corporate function and watched the film show `Wicked for Good'. Never know that there is a Golden Village cinema theatre here at the second floor among the retail outlets. Surprised also that the film screening timing is so early at 8.30 am on a weekday. It was a totally different Vivo City I used to know.
Virtually every shop is closed at this early hour, but I discovered another secret at this mall. Ya Kun Kaya Toast is opened at this early hour at Basement 2. When we found her, I was shocked that so many people know her existence and almost all the seats were occupied.
My sister ordered a kaya toast set with tea and half-boiled eggs to share with me. Both of us liked the thin slices of crispy, charcoal grilled toast bread filled with butter spread. Never know that this breakfast gem hid in one secluded corner at the mall basement.
I went up to the top balcony at the upper floor and enjoyed a panoramic view of Sentosa coast and the promenade. The mall interior looked desolate and quiet and dark, a different Vivo city.
After the film show, I came out and saw the mall crept to her usual self, filled with rowdiness and noises. I took a slow walk back home via Marang Trail and Mount Faber, felt satisfied seeing a different Vivo City this morning.
