点评：Having seen pictures of this park, we had to visit, even if that meant an hour's drive from Moab and back. Boy was it worth it! What an amazing place. So many quirky rock formations (hoodoos). They were endless. You would need at least a whole day to do this park justice. We parked near Valley 1 and had our (packed)lunch in the shaded benches at the Observation Point, before walking down into the valley (there are three of these, as well as other walking trails). We could not believe our eyes or stop taking photos. Such a fun place (children would love it). Despite being October, it was pretty hot down in the valley (take plenty of water) and there is no shade. It was the heat not lack of interest which made us retreat our steps back to the car. Definitely somewhere to visit again in the cool of morning or evening. It would also be great by night (dark sky area). We need to return. We met a number of other tourists who had stayed at Torrey near Capitol Reef National Park, and all lamented that they should have stayed in the area for longer. Next time ....
