点评：What a lovely day we had visiting this farm. Was so heartwarming to see these beautiful horses living out their days in horse nirvana. We appreciated our hosts B &B a seasoned couple that met and married there at the farm while volunteering. Got to feed some carrots to famous Derby winning horses as well as some other beautiful racers from the past as we heard their stories. . The end for some racehorses is not a good one when they can no longer race or stud. The founder Michael Blowen ( who we were lucky enough to meet) was moved to found this organization after becoming aware of the practice of destroying some older horses. It’s a beautiful location, and while there is a bit of walking, they provided a golf cart to provide rides as needed. Highly recommend spending some time here during your trip to Kentucky.
