North Loop Coastline Road Hwy 30的点评
点评：There are scenic drives in every corner of the world. At home, in Irelsnd, you can travel the great Atlantic Way of the Coast Road to the Giant’s Causeway or the Mourne Coastal Route….Come visit!
When on Maui the Northern loop of Hwy 30 from Kapalua to Kahului is a great drive. It's testing as the road narrows for a good 10 mile stretch and with constant twists and turns as you hug the many cliffs along the way, the driver needs to keep his/her wits about them. However, as you travel you are given spectacular vistas of the rugged coast. If you’re up for it you can park and hike down to the little coves dotted along the route. As you drive, you’ll pass through enchanted forests and cross many sharply carved. Though isolated, there are family homes here as well as welcoming art galleries. You can buy Maui’s famous Julia’s Banana Bread as you pass by her little green shack.
When cars have to pass on the narrow stretch, you experience great ‘Aloha’ from drivers kindly letting you drive safely past. Eventually you’ll reach the broad streets of the Island Capital, Kahului after one of the great drives.
