点评:This is one of the best kept cemeteries I’ve ever seen and it is a credit to those who fell. The front gates are beautiful in blue with gold eagles, gold wreaths and gold wording on them. As soon as you walk in you’re drawn to the first memorial which is a tower with wording on one side commemorating the sacrifices given by American soldiers. On its other side is a statue in contrasting brown stone that’s set within the tower depicting an angel and more poignant wording. To the left as you walk round you’ll see two large stone blocks that show the areas where the soldiers fell along with the names of other soldiers in unknown graves. Further to the left are two large American flags that fly high over hundreds of small white crosses each of which have the name, division, place of birth and the date on which the soldier fell. The grounds are totally immaculate and it is an honour for anyone to be here and pay tribute especially if you’re American. On your way out there’s a small building on the right before the entrance gates where you can sign your name and leave your comments. Not to be missed.
