Plan your cruise for when the sun is to the west of the cliffs

点评：We took two Spray falls cruises. The sunset tour on 6/11/26 and the 10am morning cruise on 6/12/26.
The sunset cruise was on a larger catamaran boat and took about 2 hours. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and at the end of the cruise rainy , so we did not really see the colors of the rocks as shown in all the brochures. Note: If you sit on the top (open level) it gets real cold. The second level outside was not as cold. The first or second levels inside were comfortable and the window views were very good. The ship goes up the rocks with the right side towards the rocks on the way out and has the left side towards the rocks on the way back. For us the cruise was average because of the weather (not the cruise company's fault) but if you end up on a cloudy or rainy cruise you won't see the colors.
The 10 am cruise on 6/12/26, was on a smaller two level boat. It followed basically the same route as the sunset cruise and took about 2 hours. On the smaller boat, the top level is open but with the sun out and proper clothing it wasn't cold. The first level has indoor seating and a rear open area you can stand on an take pictures. The weather for the cruise was blue sky and sun. Unfortunately, at that time of day (10 am to 12 pm) the sun is behind the cliffs so they are in shade in 95% of the spots. Again, you don't get to see the spectacular color all the brochures show. Not the cruise companies fault but still just an average boat cruise.
I'd recommend doing this cruise when the sun is to the west of the cliffs (mid to late afternoon would be my pick) if seeing the true colors of the cliffs is your goal.

如果你想欣赏悬崖的真实色彩，我建议在太阳位于悬崖西侧的时候（下午中后期比较合适）参加这次游船之旅。
