Kauai Backcountry Adventures的点评
点评：My husband and I did the Mountain Tubing Adventure and thought it was a lot of fun! Check-in was quick and easy, and then we had a short wait before our excursion began. They offer rentals for water shoes and rash guards, but we came prepared and didn’t need to rent anything.
We were given helmets with lights and gloves, and our group of about 20 people boarded an open-air bus to head up to the tubing location. Our guide, Grace, was wonderful—friendly, informative, and made the experience even more enjoyable.
The drive took about 15 minutes, with one stop along the way for a photo opportunity with the beautiful mountain range in the background. From there, we continued on to the tubing location.
There was quite a bit of safety instruction—perhaps a little more than necessary—but once we finally got into the water, we were off! The water was not nearly as cold as we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. We floated through tunnels, spun around quite a bit, and had a great time. We spent about an hour in the water before heading back to the bus.
After tubing, we went to a picnic area for lunch. Unfortunately, this was the one disappointing part of the experience. The tables and seats were quite dirty, with bird droppings and other debris all over them. It definitely took away from what should have been a relaxing lunch.
Overall, though, we really enjoyed the Mountain Tubing Adventure. The staff was great, Grace was an excellent guide, and the tubing itself was a fun and unique experience. Aside from the cleanliness of the picnic area, we would definitely recommend the tour!
