点评：We joined a private 8-hour hike with guide Andy, and he was superb. From 6 a.m. onward he made prompt, decisive choices that kept the day on track. Parking at Bear Lake and Glacier Gorge was chaotic, yet he quickly secured a spot in other area so we could start on time.
Throughout the hike he was constantly helpful—taking photos, adjusting the pace to match our strength, and never rushing us. He successfully led us to every stop along the route. The most appreciated moment came at Timberline Falls, the steepest and slipperiest section: Andy provided steady support that ensured our safety and helped us complete the climb. He also shared a wealth of information about the park, carried our lunch and water the entire way, and managed the schedule so well that we had time for breaks yet still reached Sky Pond on schedule.
The weather in Estes Park can change quickly, especially with afternoon thunderstorms. When we heard thunder around noon, Andy found safe shortcuts that brought us back to the parking area without a single drop of rain, and we returned to downtown dry and on time.
