Isle of Barra的点评
点评：Barra and Vatersay are stunningly beautiful. A 'wow' moment around every corner.
As stated in a previous review though, the bus service is absolutely unfit for purpose. Limited timetable is riddled with 'on request' caveats that leave the onus on the customer to make sure it runs. The timetable is designed to benefit the driver and make it difficult for the customer. (And he seems to really like it that way). Voice a criticism though, and you'll find its your fault. The customer on Barra, it seems, is often wrong.
Can't end on a sour note though.
Bonnie View chalets - exceptional. Barra Bike Hire - superb service and great value. Cafe Kisimul - best Indian meal I've ever had. Vatersay sauna - perfect. Scenery - jaw-dropping (Vatersay beaches are indescribably stunning).
