The Spa at Slieve Donard的点评
点评：Disappointed not what you would expect from 5* hotel. Arrived for spa day package spring awakening advertised as back polish facial and foot cleanse treatment time 1 hr 20 mins whilst the back treatment and facial were OK the foot cleanse was a hot towel wiped over feet and then dried no scrub, moisturiser etc so really it was two treatments not three. Also when I checked the time after returning to the treatment room it was 1hr so 20 mins disappeared into the mists of time!
The general spa area is now tired and dated at our visit yesterday 12th March 2026 the steam room wasn't working the area was generally untidy and dirty. Cobwebs in the relaxation room, overflowing basket of used towels the dryer for swimwear was out of order as were one of the beds in the relaxation room. Tiles are missing in the jacuzzi area its rusty with no view as the windows are extremely dirty and I dread to think what is being blown about in the ceiling fan.The entrance to the spa which once had a flame effect fire has now been replaced with cheap tacky white plastic flowers which haven't been dusted in several days.
The lunch which is included was dire tuna wrap which was ciabatta bread if you have time to play hunt the tuna a few flakes could be found otherwise it was purely a mayo bap with oily salad. The only hot option was soup even though baked potato and some sort of pie was on view. I didnt opt for the sandwiches as they were pre made and looked dried out.
Whoever thought that a material settee in a dining area was a good idea needs to have a rethink sitting in a damp sofa is not my idea of luxury. When leaving the lady at the desk couldnt have looked any more disinterested if she tried. Overall not value for money at £150

整个水疗区看起来陈旧过时。昨天（2026年3月12日）我们去的时候，蒸汽房坏了，整个区域都很脏乱。休息室里有蜘蛛网，用过的毛巾堆满了篮子，泳衣烘干机也坏了，休息室里的一张床也坏了。按摩浴缸区域的瓷砖都掉了，锈迹斑斑，窗户脏得一塌糊涂，根本看不到什么风景，真不敢想象吊扇里吹出来的都是些什么。水疗中心的入口处原本有个火焰效果的壁炉，现在却换成了廉价俗气的白色塑料花，而且好几天都没人打扫过了。
包含在房费里的午餐简直糟糕透了，就是用恰巴塔面包做的，如果你有时间仔细找找，或许能找到几片金枪鱼，否则就只是抹了蛋黄酱的面包配上油腻的沙拉。唯一的热食只有汤，尽管烤土豆和某种馅饼摆在眼前。我没点三明治，因为它们是预先做好的，看起来都干巴巴的。
谁想出在餐厅里放布艺沙发的主意？真该好好反思一下，坐在潮湿的沙发上可不是我理解的“奢华”。离开的时候，前台那位女士一副漠不关心的样子。总而言之，150英镑的价格实在不值。
