点评：I'm a local, so take that for what it's worth. We took our 7 yr old grandson, and sat in the First class Dome car. We rode from Peninsula to Akron and back. You have a view of the Cuyahoga River off & on, otherwise it's just trees, roads, houses, and past the water treatment plant. If you love trains, and like to ride, it's just fine. Just don't expect magnificient scenery. I can't speak as to what the northern end of the route is like, as I have not ridden that way. The Dome car was great, it was nice to be up high, in the air conditioning and on a comfortable seat with a table. Now for the "be aware". Our conductor was terrible, first off she sent us to the wrong car, which we knew it was the wrong car, but whatever, did what we were told and ended up having to make a dash to the other car just as the train started moving, since we were in someone elses seats. I think she was narrating on the way south, but we couldn't hear a thing. A combination of I don't think her mic was on and the very loud group of younger people across from us, who never even looked out a window or commented on the view the whole time, but I know that's not the railroad's fault. The conductor did come up to our dome car during the trip back to Peninsula, again with her microphone which was not on, but from what I could pick up from what she was saying, she didn't have much information, I heard something about Quaker Oats, but again, I'm a local so that's not news to us. Overall, if you like trains, it was an good experience, but I wouldn't do it again unless we had company that really wanted to ride.
