点评：What an incredible morning! My husband and I alternated exhilarating dips in the sea with warming up in the sauna. The finishing touches make it extra special; refreshing lemon water, sea salt scrub, hot stones, a watering can to cool off, the smell of essential oils. Feeling the sand between your toes in the sauna tent with a view of the sea felt grounding, authentic and so relaxing … it was also lovely and hot as you might expect!
Kara was really friendly and attentive; topping up the logs in the sauna, checking the temperature, offering drinks but equally gave us space and privacy. We enjoyed sitting by the fire watching the world go by.
There were lots of locals and sea swimmers about the beach, offering smiles and a friendly hello too.
Be prepared to share the sauna if you are a couple, it holds 4 people on 2 benches. We swapped sea dipping and the sauna with the other couple, only overlapping a few times. We also happened upon a really sunny, beautiful day. I can imagine you’d need to take some warm clothes for our more typical chilly northern weather.
We finished off our morning with a coffee at the newly opened Khavi, upstairs in CBK and took some of the cakes home which were absolutely delicious.
