点评:Punta Laguna was definitely worth a visit on our last day in Tulum. We had rented a car so it was easy to get to. We stopped in Manuel Antonio Ay for tacos on the way, I didn’t see a name on the place but it’s on the right and has a giant Modelo can just after it! Delicious fresh tacos, that kept us from getting hangry while looking for monkeys. At Punta Laguna we were only interested in the monkey tour, our guide was great and found a couple families of monkeys for us, also very informative about what to see in the jungle and Mayan history. At the end we decided to explore a bit more on our own and were delighted to see several monkeys including a mom and baby.
The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is the lack of information on the website and confusing pricing. We paid the obligatory park fee (500 for 2) then 800 for a guide. We may have saved $ booking ahead but I had trouble finding a company that I could just hire a guide from AND that I could contact directly. Maybe you’ll have better luck! Overall still a great experience though!
