The Castle的点评
点评：If you are looking for something to eat avoid The Castle. I have eaten here twice now and will never go again. The quality of the food is appalling. Recently I went with my partner for a sunday roast and it was dreadful. The beef was like leather and the veg was packet frozen mixed veg, not a fresh ingredient in sight. I also attended a christening in the function room which was freezing cold, there was no background music, no staff or stock on the upstairs bar. Guests including the elderly and disabled had to go up and down the stairs for drinks. The buffet was incredibly over priced and there was not enough food for all the guests. They clearly don't know what crudités are (not cheddars biscuits which is what we got). We calculated 2 sandwich triangles per person max. When asked about the quality and amount of food, we were accused of being aggressive, which was absolutely not the case. They were incredibly defensive about the poor quality and service. The Norton Arms is not far away from here and is in a completely different league - the food and staff at The Norton Arms are amazing.
