Great place to visit for a few hrs

点评：We visited with family aged between 7- 79. in half term.
spent a lovely morning at the fort. Its full of information and on the day had extra activities for children.
It was great that most of it was accessible for my dad who uses a small mobility scooter ( you might struggle in a larger one)
I would recommend booking on line as it took an incredibly long time to buy them there because it requires an email for each person to receive their ticket, this can then be used for a whole year which is a great thing if you live locally or visit the area regularly like some of my family are.
There is plenty of parking however the road is a little tight in places.
There are great views from the top of the fort.
Overall a great place to visit for a few hrs especially if you are interested in the part it plays in British security.
