国家动物园及水族馆的点评
点评：During my visit to Canberra, I spent a day at the National Zoo & Aquarium and honestly did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It turned out to be one of those places where both children and adults can easily spend an entire day without getting bored.
The zoo is spread across a large open area with beautiful views of the surrounding Canberra landscape. Walking between the enclosures feels calm and relaxing, almost like being in a nature park. One moment you are watching giraffes slowly moving across the field under a huge blue sky, and the next you are standing quietly near the lions enjoying the sunshine and peaceful atmosphere.
I especially liked how varied the experience was. The outdoor animal areas feel spacious and natural, while the aquarium section creates a completely different mood with colourful fish, glowing coral displays, and soft blue lighting. It gives you a nice break from the Australian sun before heading back outside again.
The zoo is very suitable for families with children, but adults will enjoy it just as much. There are plenty of places to walk, sit, take photos, and simply enjoy the surroundings. The animals looked well cared for, the grounds were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day.
What I personally enjoyed most was that the whole place felt relaxed rather than overly commercial or crowded. You can take your time, move at your own pace, and really enjoy the experience instead of rushing from one enclosure to another.
If you are visiting Canberra and looking for something enjoyable for all ages, the National Zoo & Aquarium is definitely worth adding to your list. It is a lovely combination of wildlife, nature, and a peaceful day outdoors.
