点评：The Abby Inn is a restaurant with a small bar area (not an Inn or Pub), we knew this before going but those expecting either of these in the traditional sense aren’t getting either.
The food was overall excellent, the Pork Ribeye was incredible as were the chips which accompanied it.
The in-house charcuterie starter was lovely and seeing it in the restaurant in the agers is a nice touch re-enforcing the craft of the team.
The scallop starter at £21, whilst tasted pretty good, left a bitter taste due to the fact it was £21 …. For 1 scallop!
Great range of wines by the glass and some good beers.
The atmosphere is good and service was ok, though had to ask for second drinks and get up ask if someone could take a dessert order, if it were a pub you would expect this … however the pricey mollusc re-enforces my point.
Definitely good food, definitely worth a visit.
