点评:While I found the people attending Chatauqua delightful, Sadly, I found the programming mediocre. The featured morning lectures were inconsistent and just a couple were good and the rest of the series was hit and miss. The dialogue session were often dull. And, I attended several that did not meet the expectations posted on the calendar.
I attended food week and there were so few food trucks that it was impossible to get food. The food was not interesting or memorable. The taste of Chataqua was 6 or seven vendors and they charged $35 for it. Several marketed performers cancelled and we weee not advised until they didn’t show up and we found out when substitutes of lesser quality performed. The morning meditation was a promotion for the person leading it who hawked his wares for half the time we were supposed to be meditating. Overall, it seemed to be a giant marketing event for the presenters. Educational, informative? Stay home and subscribe to the zoom channel to hear the handful of interesting talks. It has certainly fallen from its glory days.
