点评：Took the family for the first time to a Duck's game at the Honda Center.
We parked off-site at the El Bekal Shrine, which is about a 10-minute walk away from the north entrance of the stadium, because it is more affordable than the stadium parking.
The stadium was fully packed, but we still managed to get through security and ticketing fairly quickly. We needed help with the phone app, and the staff was very helpful in getting us in quickly. The security was friendly with a "Merry Christmas" everywhere.
The Honda Center doesn't allow food or drinks to be brought in, and only clear plastic bags are permitted. So you'll need to order food and drinks while you're there through the app. There is a good signal for cell service, so that's convenient, but they got our order wrong. We got a pretzel to share, and it was nothing special, but we really didn't come for the food.
The game was very exciting, and it showcases a constant flow of mini events while you're sitting there for 3 hours. The intermissions between periods are good for stretching and restroom breaks.
We were in the 400s section, which was pretty far up, but still had a good view of the game. It's a sports stadium, so expect it to be loud with flashing lights and lots of activity. I made due with a sweater up there, but they say it's colder near the ice.
