点评：I first discovered Bao Diep in 2022, completely by chance, thanks to the recommendation of a local. I had three silk dresses made, and I was absolutely delighted with the entire experience. Working with the team was effortless: they immediately understood what I wanted and transformed my ideas into beautiful garments that I have continued to wear over the years to graduations and weddings of friends and family.
I was so impressed that I began dreaming of creating my own ethical clothing brand with them one day. In 2025, that dream became a reality. I returned to Hoi An and started developing the project with Mrs Kim, a truly wonderful person who guided me from the very beginning, generously sharing her knowledge and teaching me so much. Together, we created the first collection for my brand, which is now available online.
For two months, I worked closely with Mrs Kim and all the women at the shop. It was an unforgettable period: challenging, intense and incredibly rewarding. We grew together and pushed beyond our limits. Creating an entire collection of seven different garments in multiple sizes was a significant undertaking for everyone, but the final result made every effort worthwhile.
The quality of their work is exceptional. They are highly skilled designers with many years of experience, supported by an incredible team of tailors. They worked quickly and precisely, were always reliable and kept their word. Everything we agreed upon was delivered exactly as promised, which gave me great confidence and peace of mind throughout the process.
I felt supported by the entire team: Kim, Dong, Thu, Lé, Tao, Tam, An, Lan, Phuong, Nina, Ni, all the seamstresses, Thuong, Aong and Ti. Each of them contributed to making this experience so special. The collection is now being sold in Europe, where the garments have been very well received. They turned out beautifully and remain a wonderful reminder of everything we created together.
I developed this project alongside my future husband, and while we were in Hoi An, we also decided to create the outfits for our wedding weekend: our wedding clothes, our pre-wedding outfits and another look for one of the celebrations. As free spirits who deeply value travel, it was incredibly meaningful to bring a part of our beloved time in Vietnam into our wedding. Our silk garments, made from beautiful fabrics, represented a piece of our story and our journeys through South-East Asia. Everyone loved them, and we were so proud and happy to wear them.
The Bao Diep team, led by Mrs Kim, is truly extraordinary. We will certainly return to create many more garments with them, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone visiting Hoi An. Even if you do not yet know exactly what you want, the girls at Bao Diep will help you discover it with their talent, kindness and experience.
