Brier Island Whale and Seabird Cruises的点评
点评：If you’re looking for a whale watching company that values loyal customers and stands behind its customer service, unfortunately, this is no longer one I can recommend.
My family and I have been taking tours with Brier Island Whale and Seabird Cruises for years. We’ve brought countless friends and family members, spending thousands of dollars over the years because we truly believed in supporting this business.
Even this year’s tour was disappointing. We barely saw any whales and never got close enough to really enjoy the experience. Honestly, if that’s the experience you’re going to get, you might as well save your money and book one of the larger boats at a lower price. Despite being disappointed, we never complained because we understand wildlife is unpredictable.
What we can’t understand is what happened afterward. Somehow, we were booked for a second tour the following day—a reservation I never made, never intended to make, and never took. Instead of contacting us or trying to resolve what was clearly a mistake, they charged us over $400 as a non-refundable no-show fee.
When I called, I was treated with complete disrespect. The employee was rude, insisted I had made the booking, and told me a manager would call me back. No one ever did. There was no follow-up, no attempt to investigate, and no refund.
The most disappointing part isn’t even the $400—it’s how a company we’ve supported for years chose to treat loyal customers. We accepted a less-than-great whale watching experience without complaint, only to be charged hundreds of dollars for a reservation we never knowingly made and then be ignored when we tried to resolve it.
After years of recommending this company to everyone we knew, they’ve completely lost our trust and our business. Sadly, I can no longer recommend them to anyone.
