A truly amazing Spanish castle hotel

点评：This place is magical! I spent a week with friends motorcycling through the Pyrenees in northern Spain, Andorra and France. We stayed in several beautiful locations, but this one was the highlight. The views as we approached the castle were spectacular, but the views from the castle itself were truly amazing. The renovation of this old castle is incredibly well done. They have preserved the historic ambiance, while creating a truly 4-star modern hotel experience.
As I am an English speaker with very limited Spanish, it would have helped me personally if the staff were somewhat more fluent in English, and while they did fairly well, they did struggle to understand me. Still, I can't fault them too much for that, and I was able to get everything that I needed.
The only weak point that I would note, for me personally, was the cuisine. It seems that they are striving to create an haute cuisine experience, but for me personally, the dining options fell short of expectation, and while I think it is commendable to try, I would have appreciated some affordable and accessible food options after the first night.
All in all, I highly recommend this Parador. It was one of the highlights of my latest trip to Spain.
