Great water park, but don’t expect peace and quiet

点评：Terme Čatež is a holiday village with hotels, rental mobile homes, glamping tents, and camping pitches. The resort includes both an indoor and an outdoor water park, which are available to guests.
If you rent a mobile home, your stay includes either a 3-hour visit to the indoor water park or two visits to the outdoor water park per day.
The outdoor water park is fun and has plenty to do, but it is also very busy and noisy. There is not much natural shade, and if you want a bit more comfort, you’ll need to rent a plastic sunbed and parasol. There are lifeguards and staff supervising the water slides, but they didn’t always seem to be paying close attention.
The indoor water park is much more relaxed. Unfortunately, the more exciting water slides were closed during our stay.
We stayed in a luxury mobile home, which was modern, comfortable, and had a lovely porch where we had hoped to relax. We expected some noise from the nearby outdoor water park, but what we didn’t realise was that the animation team plays loud music every day from 10:00–13:00 and 15:00–18:00. The speakers are literally aimed towards the mobile homes, making it almost impossible to enjoy some peace and quiet on the porch.
In the evenings, there is also a funfair and regular entertainment. Although these are located on the other side of the resort, you can still hear the noise from our accommodation.
Overall, we really enjoyed the luxury mobile home, and the water park was great fun for a few days. However, the constant noise throughout the day and into the evening made it difficult to truly relax. If you’re looking for a lively, family-oriented holiday, Terme Čatež is a good choice. If you’re hoping for a peaceful stay, you may want to look elsewhere or request accommodation as far away from the water park as possible.
