Pretty but very over priced

点评：Have just returned from gardens and house visit. You must register your cars number plate when paying at the house to avoid a parking fine.
The house is interesting and well laid out. Lots of information and very educational.
The gardens or mainly a field and meadow are lovely.
BUT felt £18 for house and garden or £15 for just the garden which is mainly a field and a meadow was very expensive, and especially compared to lots of other gardens we have visited.
The cafe is lovely but again very expensive at almost £5 for a basic oat milk hot chocolate.
We had half price tickets or we would have come away with bad taste at almost £50 for a couple of hrs.
Have just found out we could have paid £16 for both but unbeknown to us we had paid the gift aided price, we weren't asked at all or told of another price !!!!
