What's with the bad reviews? This was great!

点评：I just don't get the negative reviews. We experienced none of the issues other people are moaning about. Although we didn't have a dog with us, we saw plenty of people with dogs...so the complaint that they're not dog friendly is totally false. We bought our tickets online, and when we arrived we scanned them at the gangway and walked right on board. Nothing difficult about it. The people were friendly...no issues at all.
We actually loved our experience. The scenery is spectacular, and the boats are comfortable. During the trip, the boat stopped next to what's known as 'the echo wall'. The captain played a trumpet, and you could hear everything he played echo off the wall and throughout the valley. Very cool. Our tickets were for the long trip: Konigssee to Salet and back, stopping at St. Bartholomä. We got off at St. Bartholomä, walked around for a while, visited the church, got a bite to eat, and then caught the next boat going to Salet. No problem at all. Looking back, I think taking the shorter trip (Konigssee to St. Bartholomä and back) would have been enough, but the longer trip was fine, too.
So, forget the bad reviews. Buy your tickets online, be on time and, if you're taking a dog read the fine print.
