Burrowing Owl Estate Winery的点评
点评：I visited Burrowing Owl winery with my husband during a brief 15-minute stop, and unfortunately it felt like a complete waste of our time and the gas we used to get there.
We were staying at the Watermark resort in beautiful Osoyoos, which was a five-star experience, and decided to take a short drive to a winery. Phantom wineries were closed on Wednesday, so we chose Burrowing Owl because wine tasting was listed as open. When we walked in, it was clear the staff were busy with other customers, so we browsed the store to pass the time.
Eventually, when someone became available, I stepped up to the counter, but no one came to talk to us. My husband went over to speak with a clerk and asked if there was a patio to sit at. The clerk replied that there isn’t one, and there was no follow-up with any offer to help or to let us taste any wines. It felt like our presence didn’t register at all, and there was no proactive customer service or invitation to explore their wines.
Overall, the experience was underwhelming and did not reflect the quality I expect from a winery visit, especially after a high-end stay elsewhere. If you’re hoping for attentive service, a tasting, or even a place to sit and enjoy a glass, this visit left us disappointed and itching to leave.
