点评：My wife and I did an afternoon trip here. Our driver/guide picked us up at 1:00 and we returned at 3:00. We toured around the racing area, stopped at the starting gate for a while and drove along with two of the races. We had the option of driving along for more races but we were good with 2.
The races are quite interesting. They have camel races in other places (e.g. Kuwait) but I’m not sure that they drive with the camels any where else. The length of our trip was just right for us and I was glad to go in the afternoon as opposed to the 6:00 am.
We booked our trip through our hotel and paid $270. This seemed excessive largely because our driver/guide didn’t speak very good English so we couldn’t get a lot of our questions answered. I recommend getting a driver fluent in English if you can. It shouldn’t be that difficult as a lot of drivers in Doha are from India and speak good English.
I would consider this a must see activity if you’re in Doha when the races are scheduled.
