Castel Plage的点评
点评：I've been going to Castel Plage for several years now - it is one of my favorite "happy places" in the world!! I've gone to beach clubs all up and down the coast - from Menton on the Italian side to Colliure on the Spainish side - Castel Plage is just perfect. I've done as many solo visits as I've done with friends and it's great every time. The club is beautiful, posh, great artwork, good music and and all-around elevated experience and atmosphere. Think white table clothes, silverware, lobsters in a tank, and absolutely no plastic cups in sight. The restaurant is very nice with good service, but my favorite is Les Bains du Castel - the other beach-adjacent restaurant. Alvin is SUPERB and such a great person. I've been there many times solo or with friends and he's made it so special every time! Just booked my last transat (sunbed) of the season - so sad!! A few tips: the beach is very rocky all along the shore in Nice - if you have sensitive feet, bring water shoes. The Plagistes ("Beach Boys") cover a broad area so you may need to make some effort to get their attention to place an order - definitely tip them, they are hustling! I saw another reviewer complaining that they didn't get sat in the front row because the Plagiste refused to seat them there - ridiculous! At EVERY beach club, the front row costs more and you request and pay for that up front when you arrive. I choose to sit behind the first row and bring my own beach towel to save a bit of money (goes towards Rosé). For the record, I've had Ben as my Plagiste and he's FANTASTIQUE! Regarding children, in my opinion, the posh beach clubs like this are not really for young children. I think one of the hotel-affiliated beach clubs like the Radisson's Régence Plage are a better bet if you're bringing young kids for beach time.
