Animals more lively in the afternoon.

点评：Visited mid week with a toddler. Lots of parents and toddlers round the zoo.
We arrived early and left as the zoo closed so a full day. Didn’t see much when we arrived but lots of animals more visible from midday, seems everything had a lie in. Took a picnic which was useful as lots of the food outlets were closed.
Clearly renovation was being undertaken that led you into dead ends.
Some investment in the enclosures has clearly been made but others are looking a bit sad.
Giraffes exhibit was closed inside and out to settle in some newbies which was a shame and we didn’t know this until we had walked down the long walk way, long with a toddler anyway. We felt it should have been displayed that it was closed earlier in the zoo or at the entrance as it was still listed on the app as there being talks on. We could have dedicated more time to the Gruffalo trail that we went in at 14:30 however by 15:00 the goat walk and snakes exhibit was already shut (zoo closed at 16:00).
It was lovely to get up close to the zebras, gorillas, butterfly house and the bonobo’s they were probably our favourite.
We had discounted tickets giving us entry about half price so at this rate it was worth it. We made a 3 hour round trip, staying overnight locally to be able to maximise our time there. We will probably return in a year or so to see what changes have been made.

能够近距离接触斑马、大猩猩、蝴蝶屋以及倭黑猩猩真是太棒了，它们大概是我们最喜欢的展区。
我们购买了打折门票，价格仅为原价的一半左右，这样的价格确实物有所值。为了充分利用游览时间，我们特意驱车三小时往返，并在当地过夜。我们大概一年后会再来，看看有哪些变化。
