点评：It was a perennial dream to play this course because it is praised. Both fairways and greens were in great condition, and it was nice to play on a completely empty field. On foot, the tour took only 2.5 hours. The aerial photos of the marketing are fantastic, but the views on the ground are less dramatic, except for a few greens and tees built on the edge of the cliff. As a whole, the field is very ordinary, of course a good one.
The biggest criticism is directed at the absurd pricing: 950NZD / 470€. Locals get a green fee for 450NZD / 222€, and even that can't be considered particularly affordable. The reason for the predatory pricing is probably the same as the top courses in Ireland and Scotland: The wealthy Americans who don't care if the green fee costs a hundred or a thousand euros! Let's take whatever is available. Unfortunately, this puts many courses beyond the reach of ordinary wage earners and retirees, which is probably not the basic purpose of golf.
